Pet FAQs
Why should a pet owner use a pet sitter?
So, you do not provide a board and train program?
No, we do not have a facility to accommodate this service. Our sitters are available for overnights. This is our most popular service.
What services do you offer?
We offer a variety of affordable services to help customize your pet care plan. Our services vary from walking dogs, overnight stays, dog behavior/training and daily drop in(s). We provide all pet in-home care, dog walking and dog behavior/training to name a few. Please look at our Services/Rates to customize your experience or contact us for a quote.
Are your pet sitters background checked, insured and bonded?
What areas do you serve?
Centennial (South East portion), Summerlin, S. Summerlin/Lakes and Spring Valley. As new sitters come into the fold, we can offer services in other zip codes.
What if my pet is aggressive?
Ok, I am in, what is next?
We would schedule a meet and greet and go over the Policies and Procedures and the Pet Service Agreement. If you or your pets do not like us, please don’t hire us.
Is there a charge for the meet and greet?
Will I meet the pet sitter assigned to care for my pets?
Do you administer medication?
Who will have keys to my home?
We would prefer you be in control of your keys. How? Use a key lock box. Either purchase one on your own, or purchase from us. If that is not your cup of tea, we will need 2 copies of all doors the sitter is expected to use to enter the home. Yes, garage codes are great, however power outages and batteries die at the most inopportune time. One key is kept at the office with a special code, no names or address for your security, and one the sitter will keep. At the meet and greet, we can further discuss the policy regarding your keys.
Speaking of security, how is my information kept?
We do not store your information—either personal or credit card—on our computers. Credit card transactions are processed through STRIPE. Credit card information is stored in encrypted format. Once entered, no one—neither managers nor sitters—can see full credit card numbers or card security codes.
Your home and personal information is safe, as well. This information is protected by a firewall in a state-of-the-art data center by our online scheduling application, Time To Pet (TTP). Only authorized personnel and you can see your information. Access is available only to users with TTP usernames and passwords. All communication between TTP and the browser on your computer or smartphone is encrypted using SSL.
How will I know if the sitter came to the house?
Using TTP, you will receive a report card and pictures of the visit via email. The software also allows for GPS location, check in and check out time stamps for the office to monitor. Many clients also request a text from the sitter advising their arrival, visit information and departure from the home. We are happy to do it. It is all about the peace of mind!
I am having an issue with my dog/rescue dog. Can you help?
Yes, I am a trainer and AKC Evaluator. Evaluations prior to any training is free. Again, if you or your dog do not like me or my style of training, do NOT hire me! I will do my best to refer you to another trainer who will better fit your situation. My hourly rate for private sessions are listed here.
I am a client, can I schedule services directly with my sitter?
No, you can find out if he/she is available, however all scheduling is done through TTP and Administration. Contact us if you have further questions.
Do you accept digital payments, cash or checks?
We would prefer payment through TTP. Cash tips are great for the sitter! For bookkeeping reasons and to keep everyone honest, a payment through TTP is respectfully requested. At this time, Venmo and Zelle are acceptable. During the meet and greet, this option is discussed.
